O.o

Why are there no other reviews? I personally think that the guitar sample could be cleaned up a bit; it's kinda obvious you used a loop. The intro, the same thing, however, you've got something going for the "Pop/Rock" genre. I'm a big fan of your classical works, and I think you should try out this new field a bit.

EagleGuard responds:

I don't know why there are no other reviews. I tried putting it in the audio advertisements thread but without any success. I appreciate each and every review I get though =)

Yeah, the guitar samples I used kinda suck. Reason isn't really capable of creating good rock music. However... I now use Sonar 8 PE as well and I have a couple of good vsti's I can use with that. So hopefully I'll be able to make something similar to this, only... better. ^^ Or I might just combine it with classical and make some fast epic classical/rock music. We'll see...

Thanks for the review! =)

Interesting

I wonder what this would turn out to be. I really can't tell; you did a good job of making a versatile piece. It works as a rock song intro, or as a base for a trance song, and I can hear a beat in the background that would work for Hip Hop... I really can't tell.

Just like you said, whatever I'd want it to be, only I can't decide.

LLAAPPSSEE responds:

Not sure of the direction, musically; genre-wise, I don't have anything in mind. I just jam together various influence into something interesting.

Glad you like it, though. I hope you keep listening.

Wow

This song sums up just about how I felt this past week. I think I'm okay now, but You know how it's fragile right? Assuming that you've felt similarly, I think you'd get that, it's kinda like how a wound hurts extra when you hurt it again when it's healing. The part with the guitar sounding like a cat meowing brings to mind rage, and the feeling that no one cares in this world anymore, and the rest just the loneliness. It's probably been the best depressed song I've ever heard.

Gian responds:

I'm glad it touched your feelings, and yes, it does hurt. Thanks for the kind words and the cool review buddy.

Screw the zero bombers

This song makes sense if you READ THE DESCRIPTION... It's a nice ambient song and I guess could be used to sleep to... though the whooing (IDK how to describe it) kinda creeps me out XD. Overall, it's a nice song to, well, meditate to. The feeling of the music washing over you gives that sense of inner calm as well as allowing that reflection into the inner self that meditation is all about. I recommend listening to this with earphones. They really allow for that sense of surround that the song gives and the feeling of tranquility by nearly drowning out any other extraneous noise. Well done.

FatKidWitAJetPak responds:

Totally, if you listen without headphones the song doesn't really have the full effect on you that it should. :)

A commercial?

Dude, this piece sounds like something that belongs in a movie. I've been a fan of your music since Piano's Testimony (which was also the first one that I ever heard on Newgrounds), and you never fail to disappoint. Keep up the awesome work.

Wait...what?

Whenever I hear this song, this goes through my head:
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:
D:D:D:D::D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:
D:D:D:

I don't know why. Probably because this is the happiest, most uplifting song that is in the game, especially when you're trying to finish off the annoying healing jellyfish.

Great song!

Why is the entertainment score 1?

Enlighten me if I am wrong, but I believe this song entertained me beyond a 1.

I think you blew out my speakers.

Well, you certainly succeeded in making those beats sound as powerful as they could. I don't know if my speakers are OK after listening to this...just too awesome.

Wow

See, this was one of the reasons why I didn't smash my computer over the insanely long boss fights (I'm not that good :( ). I love this song! It's got a nice fusion of electronic dance music while still keeping that "hardcore" sound of rock to it while incorporating string instrumental and a piano track to it that seems to say "It's OK that you failed earlier, now come back and kick some ass." 10/10.

Awesome Sauce

Great song and great game too! Really captures that epic feeling during battles!
